Their outstanding features are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extremely high temperature resistance<\/li>\n<li>Miniaturized sizes<\/li>\n<li>Greatly reduced weight<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Properties<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><strong>Thermal:<\/strong><br \/>\nContinuous temperature -90\u00b0C to +500\u00b0C, 800\u00b0C for at least 240h Peak temperature 1000\u00b0C Nickel migration.<br \/>\nFrom temperatures of &gt;315\u00b0C, the cables may be subject to nickel migration after prolonged use and thus experience an increase in maximum resistance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chemical:<\/strong><br \/>\nExcellent resistance in chemical environments (standard and organic solvents). Poor resistance to moisture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Electrical:<\/strong><br \/>\nTest voltage (1 min) 150V AC \/ 212V DC<\/p>\n<p><strong>Radiation resistance:<\/strong><br \/>\nCan be exposed to neutrons or gamma rays for long periods without changing the mechanical resistance of the insulation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flame resistance:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Completely incombustible. It is very hard and sensitive to moisture. It therefore requires special care during processing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The wires must be stored and processed in a dry environment.<\/li>\n<li>The wires must not be subjected to impact or shock.<\/li>\n<li>The wires must not be kinked under any circumstances. Visual inspection: A bending radius that is too tight or a kink in the wire can generally be recognized by cracks in the ceramic insulation, which are visible as bleaching of the surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong><br \/>\nAdvise for the stripping of the insulation<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The ceramic coating on the KD500 is very thin and adheres to the conductor. Conventional stripping tools can therefore not be used.
