There are two product groups in the field of high-temperature cables.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The application temperature for standard glass fiber cables ranges from -50 \u00b0C to + 350 \u00b0C. With the use of special, high-temperature-resistant glass silk and the use of the corresponding conductor material, the application range is extended to + 550\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>We can also offer special ceramic-based insulation and sheath materials. These materials can withstand continuous temperatures of + 800 \u00b0C and peak temperatures of + 1550 \u00b0C even under extreme conditions, e.g. when used in glass, steel and metallurgy.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To extend the range of applications, glass fiber has also proven itself in combination with other materials with high thermal and mechanical strength, such as PTFE, FEP, Kapton\u00ae, silicone or mica.<\/p>\n<p>These combinations also enable use in damp environments with very good dielectric strength. Applications for high-temperature cables include electrical heating systems, domestic appliances (stoves, hotplates, ovens), extrusion and drying systems, industrial ovens, steel and metallurgical technology, glass and ceramic production, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>High-temperature cables* are part of our wide range of heat-resistant cables, which are used in demanding applications.
