In principle, bearings must be lubricated regularly. However, there are applications where the highest demands are placed on hygiene and cleanliness. The CeramicSpeed SlipCoat bearing was developed to solve this problem. It is a bearing that has been treated with a SlipCoat and thus replaces the lubricant.

Restrictions
As the coating remains soft, a certain amount of friction occurs in the bearing. This solution is therefore not recommended if the focus is on low friction or high speed.
