General information

Cable resistance thermometers are frequently used, relatively inexpensive solutions for a wide range of temperature measurement tasks. They are mainly used in the lower to medium temperature range (-40…260°C). However, there are also special versions with an operating temperature of up to 400°C. Pt100 measuring resistors in accordance with IEC60751 are usually used as basic sensors. Other nominal values (500, 1000 Ohm) or resistance materials (e.g. Ni, Cu ) are available on request. We offer a wide range of cable resistance thermometers. Areas of application include

  • Temperature monitoring in the winding or slot of electrical machines
  • Measurements in laboratory and test facilities
  • Measuring the temperature of air, water and solids
  • Temperature measurements in hazardous areas

The requirements for these sensors are extremely varied. For the areas of application described above, for example, there are also waterproof cable thermometers for use in liquids and extra high-voltage-resistant winding head sensors (up to 8 kV) for direct use in high-voltage machines.

Data bearing type M-OK/DSH (Pt 100)

The bearing type M-OK/DSH is a cable thermometer in which a basic measuring resistor is assembled using a connection cable and shrink sleeve cap. These sensors are primarily used as winding head sensors for thermal motor protection. In principle, however, they are also an inexpensive solution for temperature measurements of any kind.
