Properties at a glance

THV is a terpolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride.

  • Highly flexible
  • Continuous operating temperature between -100 °C and, depending on type, +80 to +140 °C
  • Very low permeation
  • Very high transparency
  • high UV permeability
  • weldable
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Very high flexural fatigue strength
  • non-flammable
  • Excellent ageing resistance
  • LABS free
  • No embrittlement

Notes

  • Diameters are available from 0.10 mm to 10.00 mm from the various THV types.
  • Tolerances and wall thicknesses can be set according to customer requirements.
  • X-ray measuring systems can be used for continuous dimensional checks. Corresponding complete measurement reports can be provided.
  • Different colors are possible with corresponding minimum quantities.
  • As there are various types of THV that differ in terms of flexibility, chemical resistance and temperature resistance, the type used should be matched to the specific application.
