Thermally conductive insulating Films

 

Thermal management is of central importance in current and future electronics development due to increasing miniaturization and power density. Overheating must be avoided, as this can drastically shorten the service life of components and lead to the failure of entire assemblies. The solution to this problem is heat conducting films. They ensure efficient heat exchange between electronic components and parts and at the same time have a high dielectric strength.

 

 

 

Kapton® MT is a frequently used and very efficient insulation foil with excellent mechanical properties, which is also thermally conductive. Other heat conducting foils based on copper and aluminum foils are mainly used as “heat spreaders” to quickly distribute localized heat development over a large area.
