The cores are wound from grain-oriented electrical steel tape in the direction of the grain orientation, resulting in the lowest specific losses with the best permeability, both at low and high inductions.
As standard, we supply all Strip-Wound Cut Cores with a black protective coating. To prevent cores from being mixed up and individual core halves from being incorrectly assembled, the core halves are numbered consecutively in pairs.
