PVDF hoses

Due to the material, PVDF tubing has high rigidity, good sliding properties and low gas permeability. PVDF tubing in the color ‘natural’ is white opaque and slightly yellowish with thick walls. Also available in RAL colors on request.

Material information

PVDF belongs to the group of partially fluorinated plastics. The material is characterized by high impact strength, very good chemical resistance and very low gas permeability (permeation). Environmental ageing of the material is not detectable even after years of use.

The specification of the maximum working pressure is a guide value derived from the theoretical burst pressure on the basis of 4:1 (fourfold safety). It is the responsibility of the user to check these values and, if necessary, adapt them to the specific requirements. The pressure resistance is reduced, especially at elevated temperatures. Customer-specific dimensions can be manufactured on request at short notice.

 

Products

Diameter from 0.10 mm to 70.00 m. Round rods or monofilaments made of PVDF can also be manufactured up to a diameter of 4.50 mm

  • Tolerances and wall thicknesses can be set according to customer requirements.
  • X-ray measuring systems can be used for continuous dimensional checks.
  • Corresponding complete measurement logs can be provided.
  • Different colors are possible with corresponding minimum quantities
