Processing

The blue and yellow components are mixed in a ratio of 100 : 86 until a continuous green coloration occurs. It is recommended to press the balancing putty under the drum into the winding head. If this is not possible, it can be applied to the POLYLGAS bandage. This requires spot heating of the POLYGLAS drum using an adjustable hot air device. The heating leads to a firm bond between the POLYGLAS tape and the balancing putty. Due to the relatively long processing time of the putty, mixing during the balancing process is not necessary. The pot life can be extended by cooling (e.g. in a refrigerator). This information is only a general guideline for the application and does not exempt you from carrying out your own tests!
