Description

The cleaning agent AC 93 is a clear, colorless solvent mixture for removing liquid, but also partially hardened paint and resin residues. The low-viscosity product is free of halogens and has a relatively low physiological effectiveness. This special composition of solvents results in a good cleaning effect on non-hardened materials and leaves practically no residue in pipes and valves.

 

Area of application

The cleaning agent AC 93 is used to clean measuring equipment, tools and system parts on which there is a layer of casting resins or coating lacquers. Particularly noteworthy is its use in printed circuit board technology, where the cleaning agent is used to partially remove the coating varnish or resin when replacing components.

 

Processing method

The cleaning agent can be used with a brush for washing off, with a cloth for rubbing or by feeding it into a rinsing circuit of an impregnation or casting system for cleaning the system parts. After the cleaning process of a dosing system on which Bectron® PK resins are to be processed, it must be absolutely dry! Residual solvents will damage the resin mass and clog the conveying paths. As always when handling solvents, it is essential to observe the hazard warnings and safety advice. In addition, before using the cleaning agent, personal protective equipment must be checked and skin protection applied in the recommended manner.

The cleaning agent AC 96 is to be used for the removal of partially hardened Bectron PK types, whereas the cleaning agent AC 93 is to be used for all standard cleanings.
