Electronic components and printed circuit boards must meet increasingly stringent requirements, such as moisture, extreme temperatures, mechanical stress and chemical influences. The Bectron® family has been specially developed to provide optimum protection and dielectric strength for today’s high-performance modules. Protective coatings, casting resins and adhesives play a crucial role in the reliability of electronic components such as printed circuit boards, hybrids, sensors and electronic assemblies under harsh conditions. Applications include automotive, defense, aerospace, marine and a variety of commercial, industrial and consumer applications.

Thin film coatings

Bectron® PL 4122 are modified alkyd varnishes for the conformal coating of printed circuit boards (PCB) and hybrids. They are lead-free, fluorescent, free of aromatic solvents and fulfill the highest requirements for electronic applications. UL94-V0. Bectron® PL 1104 is a transparent acrylate-based, lead-free, air-drying and thermosetting coating. UL94-V0. Bectron® PL 5621 is a transparent topcoat based on modified epoxy resin, low viscosity, UV + thermal curing and VOC free. These coatings can be applied by selective overcoating, spraying, dipping or selective flooding.

 

Thick film coatings (conformal coating)

Bectron® PK 43.. and PK55.. are heat-curing one-component polyurethane resins based on a liquid polyol system with encapsulated isocyanate hardener and pigments for controlled flow and exceptional thixotropic properties. In contrast to two-component systems, they can be processed immediately and are highly environmentally compatible. Bectron® PK43.. (120°C) / PK 55.. (150°C)… are suitable for selective coating and swirl spraying (swirl technique). Low viscosity PK resins are also suitable for dipping.

Bectron® PT46.. are one-component, moisture-curing +UV-curing polyurethanes and can also be used as adhesives.

Bectron® PT 48.. are one-component moisture-curing polyurethanes and can also be used as adhesives. Bectron® SC.. One-component silicone resins, condensation or addition curing.

 

Potting compounds

Bectron® PU45.. : Two-component polyurethane resins. Bectron® PB35.. : Two-component polybutadiene resins. Bectron® EP55.. : Two-component epoxy resins.

Bectron® SK75.. , SK 76.. : Two-component silicone resins, condensation or addition curing. All resins can be processed with all standard mixing and dosing systems.

 

Melting resins

Bectron® MR34.. One-component melting resins based on polyolefin.

 

Assembly adhesive

Bectron® AR48.. One-component polyurethane adhesive, condensation curing. Bectron® SA.. Alkoxy one-component silicone adhesive.

 

Special products

Bectron® AP8100 Masking compound for covering components. Bectron® AC93 Cleaning agent for removing resin and paint residues. Sealing putty 7510 for sealing
