Properties at a glance
THV is a terpolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and vinylidene fluoride.
- Highly flexible
- Continuous operating temperature between -100 °C and, depending on type, +80 to +140 °C
- Very low permeation
- Very high transparency
- high UV permeability
- weldable
- Good chemical resistance
- Very high flexural fatigue strength
- non-flammable
- Excellent ageing resistance
- LABS free
- No embrittlement
Notes
- Diameters are available from 0.10 mm to 10.00 mm from the various THV types.
- Tolerances and wall thicknesses can be set according to customer requirements.
- X-ray measuring systems can be used for continuous dimensional checks. Corresponding complete measurement reports can be provided.
- Different colors are possible with corresponding minimum quantities.
- As there are various types of THV that differ in terms of flexibility, chemical resistance and temperature resistance, the type used should be matched to the specific application.
